Last night we went on a little date night to our local comedy night which we go to every month. For the first time in forever I got Dolled up, had a few to many rosé (the Jagerbomb didn't help either). But having that quality time together where were not Mummy and Daddy really does wonders for us, and we laughed so hard that we completely forgot all our silly day to day stresses.
I Just wanted to show a few shameless selfies we took before our night out. we don't have any during because we were having such a great time our phones never came out!!
I haven't blogged in a long time. I guess life has got in the way a little bit recently, but things are settling down now. We've just come back from holiday so this seems the perfect time to share some of out holiday snaps.
If you are not Already familiar with Charlotte Tilbury then please go and google her and look up her AMAZING work. For months and months I had found myself browsing the Charlotte Tilbury website lusting after almost everything. I have been a avid subscriber to her youtube channel and found myself binge watching. After doing lots of research on the many looks she had to offer on her website I had decided the Dolce Vita look was the one for me, however it wasn't that was because this story of luxury come with a price and as a Stay at home mum I couldn't justify spending that amount so i put it on my christmas list and lets just say Santa did good also treating me to the Filmstar Bronze & Glow which I want to review today!
This product as you cans see is a bronzer and highlighter wrapped up in the most beautiful and luxurious packaging! Charlotte describes this product as "With FILMSTAR BRONZE & GLOW you can slim, sculpt, shorten, trim and highlight your features" so basically it helps contour and shape your face
On the right pan you have the most gorgeous bronze colour which in the pan looks like it has a pearl effect to it but on the skin it is matte but somehow still gives your skin a perfect sun kissed glow as if you had just come back from holiday. I like to use this in the hollows of my cheeks, temples and hairline. The left palette is the highlight which I must say I have never been a highlight lover until this tuned up and now I can get enough of the stuff. the highlight is a champagne colour which makes light hit your face in the most beautiful way giving you the "light from within" look. I think this highlighter has changed my mind because there is no shimmer or glitter!
